Solved Custom PC Build Won't Post

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with a new custom PC build not posting. Here are the specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200
  • PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G5, 80 Plus Gold 650W
I assembled everything carefully, but when I power it on, the fans spin, but there's no display on the monitor. I don't even get any beeps. I've double-checked all connections and reseated the RAM and GPU. Any advice on troubleshooting this issue?

Double-check if the CPU power connector is properly plugged in. It’s a common mistake and can cause the system not to post.

I once had a problem with the power supply not providing enough juice. You might want to test with another PSU if you can. Good luck!

When I had a similar issue, it was due to a RAM compatibility problem. Even though the specs matched, my motherboard didn't like the specific RAM I used. Try checking the QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for your motherboard to see if your RAM is listed. If not, you might need to exchange it for a compatible kit. Also, ensure your RAM is in the correct slots, usually the second and fourth slots for dual-channel.
