[Discussion] Dragon Age: The Veilguard Is Currently At #61 On Steam's Best Seller List

There are only over two weeks left until the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but it has failed to reach the top 50 spots on the Steam best-seller list. The game is also not even among the top 20 most wishlists on Steam, so it seems like the Inquisition fandom isn't that much interested in the sequel.

The 'woke culture' seems to be the real culprit here lmao.

Honestly, I don't think the 'woke culture' take is the issue here. Could be that people are waiting for reviews or just cautious after how Inquisition divided the fanbase. Let's see what happens as the release date gets closer!

Wow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is at #61 on the best-seller list? That's pretty low for a series with such a big following. Maybe it's just flying under the radar right now, but I expected more excitement from fans at this point.

If this one fails, EA might just shut down BioWare. This would be the third failure for the studio in a row after Andromeda and Anthem. Veilguard looks much better than these two, so fingers crossed.

It's a bit surprising that Dragon Age: The Veilguard hasn't broken into the top 50 yet. Maybe the hype just hasn't hit full swing? It's Dragon Age after all, so there's still time for a surge in pre-orders before release.

I'm not too worried about its place on the best-seller list just yet. Steam rankings fluctuate a lot, and Dragon Age games usually have a strong late push. People might be waiting to see more gameplay or reviews before committing.
