A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is an upcoming survival horror developed via the Unreal Engine 5. The game has some crazy requirements for playing on a PC. It won't be able to run at 4K 60FPS on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as the game has only two modes: 4K 30FPS and 2K 60FPS. Due to such high requirements it will run at 2K 30FPS on the Xbox Series S.

Not going to lie, 2K 30FPS on the Xbox Series S is kind of disappointing, but honestly, we should have seen it coming. The Series S just can't compete when it comes to demanding titles like this. Fingers crossed the gameplay makes up for it!

A Quiet Place having such high requirements on PC is wild. 32GB of RAM? I hope the game delivers, because these specs are tough for a lot of gamers to meet. As for the consoles, it feels like we're getting used to the idea that 60FPS might not be standard in Unreal Engine 5 games.

The fact that A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is only running at 2K 30FPS on the Series S isn't a shocker. Unreal Engine 5 is demanding, and the Series S was never meant to be a performance powerhouse. As long as the horror elements land, I think the frame rate won't matter too much.

As long as the horror elements land, I think the frameI'm fine with the game running at 4K 30FPS on Series X. Survival horror is more about atmosphere and tension than buttery-smooth gameplay, so as long as it looks good and stays immersive, I'm in. Still, I understand why some players are frustrated about no 60FPS option at 4K. rate won't matter too much.
