Cities: Skylines 2 Console Release Pushed—But New Content Is Coming!

Hello!

Anyone else bummed about Cities: Skylines 2 being delayed for consoles? I was really looking forward to diving into city-building on my PS5. That said, I get that they want to improve performance before launch. At least the new content update for PC seems like a win. Looks like they’re rolling out fixes and even adding some features to keep things fresh. Hopefully, the extra time for consoles will mean a smoother experience.

This delay hits hard, but it’s not too surprising. Ports from PC to console are usually tricky, and Cities: Skylines 2 seems like one of those games where performance can make or break the experience. I’m hopeful the new content they’re releasing for PC will eventually come to consoles, so we’ll get more than just a stable game at launch. I wonder if this is going to be a long delay or just a few months. Either way, I think it’s better than getting a buggy mess. Fingers crossed for some major updates when it finally drops!
