Dead by Daylight September Update – Worth the Changes or Too Much?

Hey everyone!

Just checked out the September developer update for Dead by Daylight, and honestly, I have some mixed feelings. While it's great to see that they're fixing a bunch of bugs and fine-tuning some gameplay mechanics (which we all know were needed), I’m a little worried that they might be making the game more complicated than it needs to be. The new perk balance changes and tweaks to survivor/killer mechanics could end up frustrating long-time players who’ve already adapted to the current meta.

Do you think these changes will actually improve the game, or are they overdoing it? Personally, I’d love to see them focus more on new content or improving matchmaking, but maybe that’s just me.

I’m kinda torn. The bug fixes are much-needed, but why are they complicating survivor/killer mechanics? It’s already tough enough for new players to adapt. Maybe they’re just catering too much to the hardcore players now.

These updates seem like a mixed bag. On one hand, bug fixes and some perk rebalancing are always welcome, but on the other hand, the game feels like it's getting more and more complicated for no real reason. It used to be simpler and more fun when you didn’t have to worry about so many fine-tuned mechanics.

While I appreciate the effort from the devs, I think they might be missing the bigger picture—new content and better matchmaking could keep the game fresh without frustrating long-time players. Hope they reconsider their priorities.
