Assassin’s Creed Shadows, released earlier this year, received a lot of criticism for many, many reasons. The game had been criticised from the start, and because of that, Ubisoft had to make sure it released a really polished version. However, on launch, the game, as well as Ubisoft, were still under fire. The company was relying solely on its performance; if it were a failure, it would have gone bankrupt. While the performance wasn’t that good, Ubisoft managed to survive thanks to a deal with Tencent. Now, the game Ubisoft was hoping that would save the company has fewer players than a 7-year-old AC title.
