Aside from major gaming outlets rating the game these strong numbers, Avowed managed to get a 80/100 score on Metacritic. Being generally favorable, many praised the game's strong narrative, world detail, and impactful choices.
There are still a few bad reviews which complain about the game being incomplete and lacking in the second part. The combat wasn't quite intriguing for the reviewers either.
