Doom: The Dark Ages marks id Software’s first new release in five years. Following the success of Doom Eternal, this entry comes with the promise of a very focused single-player experience that expands the scope of the franchise and takes it to a medieval setting. With just a few more days left before release, the official reviews of Doom: The Dark Ages have also been released. As expected, the game has mostly delivered on its promises, marking yet another strong entry for the series.
