According to his sources, the game isn't as far away as some may have thought, implying that the series could return during this generation. Discussing the statement in a tweet, the insider elaborated that it referred to Halo Combat Evolved Remake. This is significant since it adds yet another credible source to the rumors surrounding this remake.
One more source now claims that Combat Evolved is being remade, so this game is more or less confirmed, I suppose. It sounds exciting, but I'm not sure 343i is up to the task.
