Fans criticized Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered as they though it already looked so good, but a tech review from Digital Foundry has revealed that the game looks much better than the original version.

I think the remaster does seem like a solid upgrade, but I can understand why fans weren't thrilled about it initially. Horizon Zero Dawn was already visually impressive, so spending time and resources on a remaster instead of a new game or Bloodborne remaster feels like a missed opportunity.

Honestly, after reading the review, I'm excited to see the improvements firsthand. The added details in the terrain and lighting really sound like they'll make the world more immersive, especially with the VRR uncapped framerate. This might actually be worth a replay!

For me, it's not really about the visuals but the gameplay improvements, which don't seem to be a focus here. It looks beautiful, but if you're not bringing anything new to the gameplay, then it's just eye candy.

The game has many glitches and other issues over the original, plus no one asked for this.
