AI has been at the center of the gaming industry over the last month or so. The subject matter has been so controversial that a game like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was stripped of one Game of the Year title over doubts of AI use during the development process. Of course, this backlash hasn't stopped tech giants from investing in AI. The likes of Microsoft have gone all in on artificial intelligence, and the Microsoft CEO has even asked audiences to move beyond thinking of the technology as just slop.
