Star Wars Outlaws garnered a reputation as one of Ubisoft's biggest disappointments. Despite a massive team being involved in development, the game failed to meet financial targets, and Ubisoft is now placing its faith in Assassin's Creed Shadows for better results. Many developers from the Star Wars Outlaws team have moved on since then, joining various other studios. One such developer is now a part of CDPR and working on The Witcher 4.
