Hey everyone!
I'm back with more information, and this time, I found something about Bend Studio, the team behind Days Gone. They are currently hiring a Lead UI Programmer for the next project, and the requirements seem to confirm that the team is using Unreal Engine 4 for this game.
Days Gone also used the same engine, and Bend Studio has been working on the next game for a while. A bit surprising that the team isn't using Unreal Engine 5, but they probably started development before Unreal Engine 5 became so big. Remember that other developers have only recently begun to explore this engine, and many games were still using Unreal Engine 4 last year. Also, Bend Studio's game is a live service title, so it probably wouldn't benefit much from the visuals of Unreal Engine 5. Anyways, what do you think about the choice of UE4 over 5?
