Firefox Running Multiple Processes Despite Config Change

Hey folks,

I'm having a bit of an issue with Firefox. I turned off the setting that allows it to run multiple instances and even set the config value for it to false, but it’s still spawning multiple processes. This is putting a lot of strain on my PC, and It starts to lag.
 
try completely restarting Firefox after making those changes. Sometimes, the settings don’t take effect until a full restart. If that doesn’t work, you could try starting Firefox in Safe Mode (hold Shift while opening Firefox) to see if an add-on is causing the issue.
 
After changing the config value, make sure to restart your PC to ensure all processes are reset. Also, check for any hidden or background extensions that might be spawning extra processes.
