Hey fellow Witcher fans,

Just stumbled on some interesting news—Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt, is coming back for the next Witcher game, but he won't be voicing Geralt this time around! 😲

Yeah, kind of a bummer, right? Geralt's voice is basically part of the Witcher DNA. But don't freak out yet—Geralt is still going to be in the game, just not as the main character. So, what's going on? New protagonist? Some wild new twist?

I'm curious but also a little worried. I mean, the Witcher series without Geralt front and center feels weird. But maybe this is a chance to explore new stories in the Witcher world?

What do you all think? Excited for something new, or are you gonna miss Geralt as the lead?

Wait, so Geralt’s voice actor is back but not as Geralt? That’s wild! Can’t imagine him voicing someone else in the Witcher universe.

Can’t lie, it’ll be weird hearing Geralt’s voice coming from a different character. Do you think this is a smart move, or are they risking confusing fans?

It’s a bold move by CD Projekt Red to bring back Doug Cockle but not as Geralt. I get that they want to push the story in new directions, but it’s going to take some getting used to. Hearing his voice might make people feel like they’re still connected to the old games, which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how it’s handled. It’s definitely a risky choice, and I’m curious to see how fans react once the game is out. Will this new character live up to the legacy of Geralt? Only time will tell.

Doug Cockle voicing someone other than Geralt? That’s a twist I didn’t see coming! I’m glad they’re keeping him involved because his voice work is top-tier, but this move has got me thinking. It could be a smart way to introduce a new main character while still keeping a familiar element for fans of the original trilogy.

It’s going to be interesting to see how they pull this off without making it feel too strange. I just hope the new character is as compelling as Geralt was, because those are some big shoes to fill!
