Have an i5 12600k, should I go for i3 14th gen?

Hey guys, my current PC specs are:

• CPU: i5-12600K
• GPU: RTX 3060
• Mobo: GIGABYTE Z690 AORUS Elite

I wanted to ask would it be a good idea to jump two generations but to a lower tier CPU? Would I get any performance upgrade? Or should I sell my GPU and get upgrade that instead?

I have the box and everything for my 12600K and it doesnt overheat etc, so im expecting it to go for around $120-$130. So I won't have to invest much for a new i3 14100

Save up some money and get the 14600K man, or even a 13600K is a better option
