Hey folks,

Need some help here. My laptop (HP Pavilion) suddenly decided to slow down like crazy and I'm about ready to throw it out the window. It was running smooth, but now it’s like it's stuck in quicksand. Takes ages to open apps, and even browsing is painful.

Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on or what I should try next? Is this a hardware issue or a virus? I’m desperate here. Any help would be awesome!
