Solved How to add more storage to my gaming PC

SSD all the way, man. HDDs are good for bulk storage but slow. Make sure to backup your data before messing with your PC internals.

Hey @YeastMadlen If you want faster load times and performance, go with an SSD. For installation:
  1. Turn off and unplug your PC.
  2. Open your case.
  3. Find an empty drive bay or mounting spot.
  4. Connect the SSD to the motherboard using a SATA cable.
  5. Connect the power cable.
  6. Close the case, plug in, and turn on your PC.
  7. Format the new drive in Disk Management.

If you just need storage for games and not worried about speed, you could get a big HDD. They're cheaper per GB. For installation, just Google a tutorial. It's pretty straightforward.

if you have an M.2 slot on your motherboard, consider an M.2 SSD. They are super fast and easy to install. Just screw it in, no cables needed.

I recommend getting both. Use the SSD for games you play a lot for speed, and an HDD for less frequently played games or other files. Balance of speed and storage.
