Solved Laptop Keyboard Not Working Properly

Hey there,
Some keys on my laptop keyboard have stopped working, and it's driving me nuts! I've tried cleaning under the keys and even reinstalled the drivers. Do I need to replace the whole keyboard, or is there another fix?

When I had a similar problem, it turned out to be dust and debris under the keys. If you've already tried cleaning, consider using compressed air to blow out any stubborn particles. Also, some laptops have a feature in the BIOS/UEFI to reset the keyboard.

Check your laptop's manual to see if that's an option. If none of these work, it might be time to replace the keyboard, but try all other options first.

Try using an on-screen keyboard for now. It’s not a permanent fix, but it can be a temporary workaround.

I had the same issue, and it was due to a faulty ribbon cable. Reconnecting it fixed the problem for me.
