Microsoft Has Closed One Of Its DEI Teams, Firing Multiple Staff Members

Microsoft has allegedly shuttered one of its major Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) teams, laying off several employees in the process. The former team leader sent an internal email to several Microsoft staff which revealed the firings, criticized Microsoft's decision, and accused the tech company's leadership of "harassment and toxicity."

It looks like the company is simply cutting costs, since they have already carried out a large series of layoffs, perhaps they have revised their views and decided to cut costs a little again.
