Modern Warfare 3 Double XP Tokens Not Transferring? Anyone Else Annoyed?

Hey,

So apparently, our Double XP tokens from MW2 and Black Ops Cold War won’t transfer over to Modern Warfare 3... seriously? For those of us who saved up, this kinda feels like a slap in the face. Why even bother earning these things if they don't carry forward? I get that MW3 is a fresh game, but I don’t see the harm in letting us keep the progress we’ve earned. Anyone else frustrated with this, or am I overreacting?

I’m really annoyed by this. It’s like Activision wants us to grind for hours but doesn’t respect the effort we put in. Those Double XP tokens were earned through time and dedication, and now they’re just useless? I don’t understand why they wouldn’t let us transfer them to MW3.

They could have easily found a way to integrate them into the new progression system. It’s not just about the tokens—it’s about the principle. If they keep resetting progress like this, what’s the point of trying hard in any game? It really makes you rethink future purchases.

Bro, same! I spent so many weekends grinding to earn those tokens in MW2. Now they’re saying they won’t transfer to MW3? That’s some serious disrespect for people who put in the hours.

I don’t get why they couldn’t just let the tokens carry over. If anything, it would keep player engagement high, especially for those of us who spent hours grinding in MW2 or Cold War. This feels like another way for Activision to push more microtransactions or make us buy new tokens in MW3. It's a classic case of game companies disregarding the player experience in favor of profit. If you want people to stay loyal to a franchise, you have to reward their effort, not reset their progress. It’s frustrating when they seem to do the opposite.
