Need Help with RGB Lights After Installing Drivers

Hey everyone,

I just finished building a PC, and everything was working great—especially the RGB lights on the CPU cooler and case fans. But then I started updating drivers through the Windows updater, and now the RGB lights have stopped working. The fans still run, but the lights are out.

I've tried everything I can think of: unplugging and replugging the cables, and even using dedicated software to try and control the lights. I made sure it detected the ports (JARGB_V2 1 and 2), but no luck so far.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Here are the specs:

  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming
  • Case: NZXT H510 Elite
  • Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition
Thanks a bunch!

That sounds super frustrating. One thing you might want to check is if there’s a specific driver or software update for your RGB controller. Sometimes Windows updates can mess with custom software like RGB controllers. Head to the ASUS and Cooler Master websites and look for the latest versions of their RGB control software.
