If this turns out to be true, it would mean that all those games we’ve been collecting won’t just become irrelevant when the new console drops. I mean, who wants to lose access to classics like Breath of the Wild or Mario Odyssey?
Backward compatibility has always been a bit of a hit-or-miss feature with Nintendo. Remember how the Wii U could play Wii games, but the Switch couldn’t play either?
