Solved Old Files Reappearing in Notepad and Word on Windows 11

Hi, I've got a weird issue on Windows 11. When I open Notepad or Word, old files with content I thought I deleted keep popping up. I use a limited account without OneDrive, but the main admin account on my laptop does have OneDrive (supposed to be disabled).

I really dislike the idea of my files going to the Microsoft cloud without my consent. Any idea what's causing this and how to stop it?

Maybe these files are cached somewhere on your system. Try running a disk cleanup to remove any temporary files that might be causing this issue.

Check the main admin account's OneDrive settings to ensure it’s completely disabled. Even if it’s supposed to be, sometimes settings can revert.
