Heyy!
So I just read that Palworld is not going the free-to-play route, and honestly, I’m kind of relieved. While a lot of games these days are chasing the F2P model, I feel like it’s more of a trap than a benefit for players. Sure, you get in the door for free, but then it’s just microtransaction city from there on out. For a game like Palworld, with its mix of survival and creature-catching elements, I think keeping it paid will help avoid all that predatory monetization stuff.
I’m excited to see where they take the game now that they’re not tied to making everything revolve around in-game purchases. What do you all think? Is this the right move, or are you all for free-to-play, even with microtransactions?
