I was scrolling through GameRant today and came across some pretty cool news: Pauline is officially joining the roster of playable characters in the new “Super Mario Party Jamboree”!
For those of you who might not be in the loop, Pauline is kind of a big deal in the Mario universe. She was the original damsel in distress way back in the classic Donkey Kong arcade game. But in recent years, especially after her amazing comeback in “Super Mario Odyssey” (remember that killer song "Jump Up, Super Star!"?), she’s become a fan favorite. It’s awesome to see Nintendo giving her more love and bringing her into the fold of the Mario Party series!
Adding Pauline to “Super Mario Party Jamboree” seems like a natural fit. I mean, she’s got style, she’s got charisma, and now she’s ready to throw down on the game board. I'm really curious about what kind of unique abilities or items she'll bring to the mix. Are we going to see some music-themed mini-games with her in the spotlight, or maybe a few references to her city-slicker style from New Donk City? Either way, it’s bound to shake things up!
But here's a question for you all: What do you think this means for the future of Mario Party games? Are we going to see more unexpected characters joining the roster? Maybe some other classic or even obscure Nintendo characters making their way into the party scene? Personally, I think it’d be amazing to see some deep cuts from Nintendo’s history joining in on the fun.
