A former Rockstar employee suggests that Rockstar won't release GTA 6 till it's 100% ready, so the PC version could launch in 2027.

2027? May as well wait for the PS6 at that point or whatever the Xbox Series X successor is called. You know what, I wouldn't mind playing this on the Steam Deck 2 if it's out by then and runs GTA 6 :ROFLMAO:

This wait is brutal, but if it prevents the game from being another broken PC launch, I'm all for it. Just hope it's not like the GTA trilogy remaster... that was a disaster.
 
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait till 2027. Rockstar has no competition, and they know people will buy the game whenever it drops. But man, PC players always get the short end of the stick.
 
Rockstar really takes their time with these PC ports, but if it means getting a polished game, I guess it's worth it. Still, 2027 feels so far away. Consoles always get the priority.
 
2027?! That's an insane wait for PC players. I hope they at least optimize it really well if they're going to make us wait that long. I don't want another buggy mess at launch.
