PC Sound Issues

Heya,
I'm having sound issues on my PC. Sometimes the audio just cuts out completely, and I have to restart to get it back. I've checked the connections and updated drivers. Any idea what's causing this?
 
For some reason, Windows updates sometimes mess with audio settings. Have you checked the audio troubleshooter in Windows? It can sometimes pinpoint the issue.
 
I had a similar issue and found out it was due to the Realtek audio drivers conflicting with Windows updates. Uninstalling the Realtek drivers and letting Windows automatically reinstall them solved the problem for me. You can do this through Device Manager by right-clicking your audio device and selecting 'Uninstall device.' Then, restart your PC, and Windows should reinstall the necessary drivers.
