Resident Evil 4 Remake received a sudden update recently, which replaced Denuvo with a new DRM on PC. For all its downsides, it seems Denuvo was not as bad as many made it out to be, since the new DRM appears to have negatively impacted Capcom's latest Resident Evil remake. According to reports, Resident Evil 4 Remake now runs worse on PC. The game is even being review-bombed on Steam due to the performance impacts.
