Hey everyone,
Just saw some news that got me pretty excited—Sony's first-party live-service game "Fairgames" is apparently getting some very positive buzz from within! Looks like the folks over at Sony are feeling pretty confident about this one. For a company that’s been a bit quiet on the live-service front, this could be a big move!
From what I’ve read, "Fairgames" is shaping up to be a unique blend of action and strategy, with a heavy focus on multiplayer. I know, I know, we’ve heard the “live-service” thing a million times before, but if Sony’s as hyped about it as they seem to be, maybe this one’s actually got something special going on. Could it be their answer to the likes of "Destiny" or "Fortnite"?
I’m a bit torn, though. On one hand, Sony usually knows what they’re doing with first-party titles, and if they’re excited, that’s a good sign. But on the other hand, live-service games can be hit or miss—sometimes they launch strong and then fizzle out. What do you all think? Are you excited to see what "Fairgames" brings to the table, or are you a bit cautious like me?
Also, what kind of gameplay are you hoping for? Personally, I’d love to see something that mixes tight, tactical gameplay with some epic, large-scale battles. And, of course, no crazy microtransactions, please!
