Hey everyone,

So, it looks like the curtain is finally closing on the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with the upcoming Season 5 Reloaded update dropping on August 21. This is a huge moment for all of us who have been grinding through the Dark Aether and tackling the undead in this game.

The final story mission sounds pretty intense, with players going up against a new big bad in the Dark Aether called "The Entity." And while it's sad to see this chapter close, there's definitely a silver lining—Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is right around the corner, and it’s bringing back the classic round-based Zombies mode. For those of us who love the old-school Zombies experience, this is seriously exciting. Wonder weapons, perks, and all the good stuff we’ve missed will be making a comeback!

But back to Modern Warfare 3—this final mission will also bring some cool rewards, like new schematics to up your game. It's bittersweet, for sure, but I’m really curious how they’ll wrap up the story. And with Black Ops 6 on the horizon, there’s still plenty to look forward to. Plus, anyone else hyped for the return of Theater Mode in BO6? Imagine the community content we’ll be able to create!

Are you as excited as I am for the return to round-based Zombies in Black Ops 6?

Having followed the Zombies storyline from the very beginning, this finale hit differently. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend, you know? I remember back in the day, staying up all night trying to survive just one more round, speculating about the lore with my buddies.

While I think they wrapped it up decently, there’s a part of me that feels they missed some opportunities to really tie things together. What’s next? I hope they bring something fresh but with the same intensity. Maybe it’s time to explore entirely new horror elements. Either way, I’ll be waiting!

I gotta say, Black Ops 3 had a much better conclusion to its Zombie story. This one felt kind of flat in comparison.

With the Zombies story finally at an end, it feels like a chapter closing not just for the game but for a part of gaming history. I’m curious though, where do they go from here? They’ve got a huge fan base and some big shoes to fill. Personally,

I’d love to see them take what they’ve learned and apply it to a new kind of co-op experience, maybe something that blends horror and survival with a deeper narrative. But, who knows? It could be a hit or miss depending on the direction they choose.
