Hey everyone,

Just came across some big news for all the RPG fans out there—The Witcher 4 is apparently nearing a major milestone and is set to enter full production soon! 🚀 CD Projekt Red seems to be moving forward pretty quickly with this one, which is exciting but also a bit concerning.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m as hyped as the next person to jump back into the world of Geralt (or whoever we’ll be playing as this time). But after the whole Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco, I can’t help but feel a bit cautious. Remember how hyped we all were for Cyberpunk, only for it to launch with all those issues? Yeah, I’m still having flashbacks, haha. 😅

On the bright side, maybe CDPR has learned from their mistakes and are taking a more careful approach this time around. They did mention a while back that they’re overhauling their development process. So, fingers crossed that means a smoother ride for The Witcher 4. Also, anyone else curious about where they’re going to take the story? Are we getting a new protagonist, or is there still some Geralt magic left to explore?

What do you guys think? Are you cautiously optimistic like me, or just full-on hyped for more Witcher content?

Let’s consider the possibilities: Witcher 4 could either continue Geralt’s journey, which would be fantastic for long-time fans, or introduce a new character altogether, which could refresh the series. I’m leaning towards excitement because CDPR has proven they can create engaging narratives. Still, the cautious part of me remembers that ambitious games like Cyberpunk 2077 can lead to overpromising and underdelivering.

If they stick to what they do best—deep, narrative-driven RPGs with a compelling world and character development—Witcher 4 could be a masterpiece. Just crossing my fingers that they avoid unnecessary features that could bloat the game or lead to bugs.

While I’m definitely excited for The Witcher 4, I think we should approach it with cautious optimism. CD Projekt Red has a solid track record with The Witcher series, but Cyberpunk 2077's launch was rocky, to say the least. If they’ve learned from their mistakes and taken the time to polish Witcher 4, we could be in for an incredible experience. Plus, the Witcher universe is so rich and filled with potential stories, I’d love to see what new adventures Geralt or a new protagonist could embark on. But yeah, tempering my expectations just a bit this time around!

Honestly, after the whole Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco, I’m both hyped and worried. Loved Witcher 3, but I’m holding back my expectations this time.
