Best Data Storage Solutions for Gaming + Editing Builds

Hey everyone,

I built my PC about 2 years ago and I’m still running great for most games, but lately I’ve noticed load times creeping up and occasional hiccups when I’m working on video editing projects. I think it’s time to rethink my storage setup. I’ve been researching some excellent data storage solutions like high-speed NVMe SSDs and larger secondary drives that balance speed and capacity. Top NVMe SSDs today offer incredible read/write speeds that seriously cut down load times in AAA games and productivity tasks.

Right now I’m considering a Gen4 NVMe as my main drive, and maybe a big SATA SSD or even NAS for backups and media. I’d love to hear what setups you’re using — specific drives, sizes, and how they’ve affected your workflow or gaming.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
