After going private earlier this year, EA developers feared layoffs within the publisher. Although teams like BioWare were working on important titles like the next big Mass Effect, EA has now announced a new wave of layoffs. In a shocking turn of events, EA has also confirmed that BioWare is now shutting down and Mass Effect 5 is being cancelled.
