Hello everyone,
I recently started a YouTube channel and am exploring budget-friendly laptops for editing 4K footage. I’m considering a Core i5 laptop with Intel Iris Xe graphics, but I’m unsure if it’s powerful enough for my needs.
My typical workflow involves trimming and color grading 4K footage from a GoPro, adding some effects, and exporting videos up to 10 minutes long. I use software like Filmora and occasionally Adobe Premiere Pro.
Will a Core i5 with Iris Xe graphics deliver smooth performance for these tasks? Or should I look for something with a dedicated GPU? Any tips on optimizing settings for better performance would also be helpful!
