Assassin's Creed has undergone a major identity shift over the last decade. What began as a stealth-focused action-adventure IP has now turned into a series of full-blown RPGs, with Ubisoft only recently returning to the classic formula with Assassin's Creed Mirage. However, back in 2013, the gaming giant also released Assassin's Creed 4, striking a perfect balance between the stealth-focused roots of the series and more expansive open-world gameplay. Recently, this entry celebrated its 12th anniversary.
