The founder's comments don’t surprise me too much. Corporate mergers rarely end with more freedom for the creatives, right? It’d be sad if Arkane’s unique style got lost in the process.

Arkane is the kind of studio where you can feel the developers' passion in every game. I get the founder’s frustration—big corporations often mean more red tape, and that’s the last thing you want for a studio built on creativity.

Whoa, an Arkane founder calling out Microsoft! That’s gotta sting for Xbox fans. Wonder what led to this critique.

Arkane's games are rare gems in a sea of clones. Immersive sims are niche, sure, but isn't that why we love 'em? Microsoft making a 'stupid' move? Yeah, Colantonio, I feel you!

Man, Microsoft out here shutting down Arkane Austin like it's nothing. Guess they don't care about fans who actually like games that make you think, huh?

Sad to see Arkane Austin go. Microsoft just doesn't seem to get how special immersive sims are—there's no way to replace that talent overnight. I mean, look at Prey; it's got a cult following now, but it's a tough sell for the mainstream. They're really killing the indie vibe in AAA studios these days.
