Nvidia announced DLSS 5 yesterday, debuting a technology that could change video game graphics forever. Initial reactions to this technology, however, have been largely negative, with many dubbing it an AI slop filter for games. Many have also expressed concerns regarding the hardware cost of DLSS 5, since Nvidia's own demo utilized two RTX 5090s. Anyhow, developers and publishers appear to be a lot more enthusiastic about the proposition of DLSS 5 and neural rendering.
