Highguard was one of the many games revealed at The Game Awards in 2025, but initial reactions to the title have been anything but encouraging. In fact, many have already written the game off as another live-service shooter that will likely be forgotten before long. Recently, it has also been discovered that the Highguard development team includes former Concord developers.
