The last ten months have been quite a treat for RPG fans. Between releases like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the genre has been firing on all cylinders. Most recently, Obsidian also released The Outer Worlds 2. Coming from the creators behind Fallout New Vegas, many expected this release to be yet another hit, but player impressions were largely missed. The director behind Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 also appears to be disappointed, stating that the game should have done more.
