Death Stranding 2 launched to excellent reviews in June, and with Hideo Kojima's name backing the title, many expected the game to become an instant success. After all, the original had reached about 16 million players before the sequel arrived. Death Stranding 2 has been out for nearly two full months, but PlayStation and Kojima Productions have remained silent about commercial reception. As it stands, all signs point to disappointing sales for the title.
