PlayStation's recent physical disc announcement drew the most criticism the gaming giant has seen in many years. Things got so out of hand that fans began cancelling PS Plus subscriptions, including many hardcore PlayStation gamers. PlayStation also faced quite a bit of backlash on social media, leading to several days of silence on Twitter. Interestingly, however, PlayStation appears to have been bailed out by the launch of Treyarch's Black Ops ports on PS4 and PS5.
