MindsEye created plenty of discourse after its initial reveal and recent previews. Although the game never looked too great, it had the talent of Leslie Benzies behind it, leading to some hope within the fandom. At release, MindsEye failed to gain any traction and was reviewed negatively. Players continued to complain about technical hitches and various performance issues, and it seems PlayStation has now begun to refund the game.
