The gaming giant may be best known for the likes of the Switch, Game Boy, DS, and the Wii today, but it released its first-ever console almost half a century ago. This also means that Nintendo has sold the most consoles of any company in the industry. When put together, no other competitor even comes close since Nintendo has sold nearly 1 billion consoles altogether.
