Naughty Dog announced its latest project, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, nearly one full year ago. A few months later, the team also confirmed work on another game was moving along at the studio. Previously, director Neil Druckmann also stated that a third The Last of Us entry was being considered a few years back, suggesting Naughty Dog will eventually revisit The Last of Us. Elaborating on the future of the series, an insider states that the third game is still many years away.
