If this is true, it's a massive letdown. PC players have been a huge part of Resident Evil's success. I really hope Capcom isn't planning to leave us behind for too long. The sooner they clarify this, the better!

Capcom skipping Series S makes sense for performance reasons, but I didn't expect them to leave out PC. That's a strange move, considering how well RE games have done on Steam. I hope this is just a rumor and not the final plan.

Man, skipping PC at launch? That's a huge bummer. I've always played Resident Evil on PC, and the modding community really adds to the experience. Hopefully, it's just a timed thing, and we'll get a release a few months later. Capcom should know better by now!

Not surprised honestly. It seems like more and more games are prioritizing consoles for optimization reasons. It sucks for PC players, but I get why Capcom might want to focus on PS5 and Series X first.

Capcom would be stupid to do this. Wouldn't give Metacritic much thought tbh.
still i think after the disastrous launch of dragons dogma 2 it might delay the game on pc. capcon apparently isn't that good with open world games and there are plenty of rumors regarding re9 featuring an open world.

im guessing pc players will have to wait for almost a year?
