The gaming industry received a major shock recently when Nintendo confirmed it would launch Mario Kart World for $80. This update was followed by Xbox confirming it would follow suit and release some $80 titles later this year. Although Microsoft did not elaborate much, this statement was enough to upset the masses and many enthusiast Xbox fans. Microsoft has yet to say which games will be priced at $80, but a popular insider believes this change will be limited to Call of Duty.
