I’ve been researching high performance computing (HPC) lately and was wondering if anyone has experience applying it specifically to gaming. With the release of more demanding games, I’m curious whether high performance computing can truly enhance gaming performance, or if it’s more of a niche solution for professionals or developers.
In particular, does investing in high-performance CPUs and GPUs yield tangible improvements in gaming experiences, like higher frame rates or better resolution? I’m wondering whether it's worth the extra cost for the average gamer or if traditional gaming rigs still provide the best value.
